1. What is a cookie?

A Cookie is a file that contains a small amount of information. It is automatically installed on your equipment (e.g. PC, laptop, tablet, mobile phone, watch, etc.) when you connect to a website (or application). Only the sender of the cookie can read it.

2. What is it for?

It allows the server to record information in a text file located on the computer. Information that this same server can read back and modify at a later date.

On Chrome: At the top right of the browser, click on the menu icon (symbolised by three horizontal lines). Select Settings. Click on Show advanced settings. In the "Confidentiality" section” click on preferences. In the "Confidentiality" tab, you can block cookies.
